Many of the collections we carry are handcrafted in limited quantities rather than mass produced. Verellen, for example, hand-ties roughly two hundred seats each week for the entire country with a small number by design. At Heritage Haus, we would rather thoughtfully curate a select group of exceptional furniture lines worth waiting for than fill our showroom with what is simply easiest to source.

Four lines we build around
These four anchor most of what we design around, though the floor runs deeper than this. Your designer can walk you through what else belongs in the room once we know what it is, lighting included.
Tom and Sabine Verellen built the company on what they grew up around in Antwerp, and the restraint of that upbringing is still visible in the shapes. Solid maple frames, hand-tied seats, joinery instead of staples. It is the kind of furniture that tends to get handed down rather than replaced.
A bench-built upholstery house out of Los Angeles, making pieces to order on hardwood frames from a fabric library assembled from all over the world. When a room needs something that does not already exist off a floor somewhere, this is usually where we start.
Reclaimed wood, natural stone, and hand-forged metal, sourced from artisans working across several continents, which means no two pieces come out quite the same. In a house like this, that variation is the standard rather than something to work around.
Built in the same Virginia plant since 1946, with performance weaves and slipcovers that come off and go in the wash. This is the line we reach for in the room that actually gets lived in — one that has to hold up to a busy household, not just look good in it.
How this works when you are not here
Start an Inquiry
1. Define the Vision
We start from your architect's plans, or whatever you already have in mind. A call and a folder of images is usually enough to get going.
2. Professional site measure
We visit the house, take the real measurements, and coordinate directly with your contractor or caretaker, so you never have to be there in person for this part.
3. Curated design proposal
You receive the full plan, layout, fabrics, finishes, the exact pieces, and the number, as something you can sit with and review on your own time, rather than a meeting you have to fly in for.
4. White-glove delivery and install
We handle the ordering, the climate-controlled receiving, and the placement, so what you walk into is a finished house rather than a stack of boxes waiting on someone to open them.

The design work is built into your furnishings
There is no invoice for the plan itself, no hourly rate, and no design retainer sitting on top of the furniture budget. It works the same way here as it does for our Twin Falls clients: the planning comes with the pieces.
